No matter what direction you may choose with your designs, it can be manufactured to exact specifications in our facilities. For over twenty years, Ashley Lighting has manufactured high quality products exclusively for the Hospitality industry. Should you have a new design or modified version of an existing design, we can manufacture, in house, utilizing our capabilities to produce in both resin and metals.
Our Design Department will help you to realize your custom designs through use of software for 3D visualization. We can create realistic images that accelerate and simplify every step of the design process. See your custom designs before it is tooled and manufactured!
Our Resin Department has the capability to produce sample resin bodies within two to three weeks from issue of a design drawing. Currently, Ashley has the ability to produce a vast array of molds including glove molds, block molds, hinged molds and several others. Also, Ashley has the ability to pour resin to meet your needs such as rotocast, solid pour, open pour and many others that we would be proud to display on your next order.
Our Fabrication Department has been the foundation of Ashley Lightings success and still today is a cornerstone of the company. Currently Ashley has the ability to cold form a large number of products with the many dies and press brakes kept in house. Additionally, all lengths of tubes, arms, necks, and cord covers can be produced to your exact specifications. We are proud to say that the department has experienced several streamlining events allowing us to produce several different components with much less time involved in set up and production at a higher rate of quality. Through strategic alliances as well as the addition of new staff members, Ashley now has the capability to do minor iron work and bending which allows us to product products with a more rustic look.
Our Finishing Department has a full array of finishing capabilities that can create "that look" you've been looking for. From standard wet paint, and hand applied finishes, all the way to powder coating we have the capabilities to apply the finishes that you are looking for. In recent years Ashley has taken major steps in improving the quality as well as efficiency of products being painted. In most liquid painting applications, a chemical known as Zinc Chromate is used in order to increase adhesion of paint. In 2004, Ashley made a large investment and began using a flow coating system that has proven to adhere as much as ten times better than normal Zinc Chromat applications. While making this change to our process, we took the opportunity to add an array of painting equipment to increase efficiency as well as quality. The process has now been refined to minimize handling, movement, storage, boxing, and several other factors that directly affect the quality and pricing of painted products. Last but not least the greatest assets in our paint department is the painting experts on staff and committed Ashley Lighting Associates that are some of the best in the business and are directly responsible for making sure our painted and powder coated products are the best available.
Our Assembly Department too has experienced several changes making the process more efficient and allowing our associates to produce a high quality product every time. In recent years, we are most proud of our newly developed Quality system that includes receiving inspections, Supplier Quality system, in process inspections, and final inspections. Each and every Ashley associate producing your products has been trained and instructed in such a way that minimizes failures in the field. Our goal in manufacturing is to ship a product that performs flawlessly for you and those installing your products.
Each step of the way, all products are exposed to some of the most rigorous inspection processes in the business. Quality begins for us with design and doesn't stop until products have been installed in your facilities.
